Is the gpu a 1660 ti or a base 6gb 1660? null

It is just GTX 1660 with 6GB of VRAM.

I can't answer this question because the day after I purchased the computer I had to bring it back to the bestbuy in West Lebanon NH. That was on March 7th. I still don't have the pc and today I have the dreadful task of calling them again to find out where it is.
