The PC comes with a DVI to DVI cable, the cable plugs into the video card and then directly into the control unit for the LCD panel. After doing that your PC should have two monitors listed under settings, the side panel is just another monitor to Windows. To put graphics or whatever on the side you'll have to download and install Rainmeter (for cpu diagnostics) if you want that displayed on the side panel or Wallpaper Engine (for animated wallpapers) Wallpaper Engine can be had on Steam for like 4 bucks or something.
