A:AnswerThere seems to be 2 different HDMI's
try the lower one
It did the same for me. Bottom one works but top one doesn't and I cannot figure out why and have been trying to contact support for help.
A:AnswerI called IBuyPower today. They said It has 4 slots, can be expanded to 64gb, BUT nothing above 2666 speed. Least thats as of now. Stuff changes, and said they can't say all the parts because it varies depending on stock, but since it's new gave me that much. Also said currently using Asrock B365M Dunno if that helps anyone.
Other info AGAIN said they can only say because its new and don't have multiple builds of it yet, later it'll vary more, BUT as of now...
Adata XPG 2 8gb
1 TB WD Blue 7200 6/gb (3.5")
1 480 Adata SU630 (2.5")
PSU generic 500W
Cooler Intel (recommended 120 mm H60 IF you upgrade)
Space to add a single M.2 1 3.5" and 1 2.5" No drive bays
Again this was off phone conversation, can't guarantee any of it, but if it helps anyone great.
A:AnswerThe answer repeatedly given to this question is kind of a generic answer that almost seems as if it is given to smooth over the fact that unlike PCs built by IBuypower in past years, the motherboard in this unit is not a full featured retail unit. It is in fact an OEM board, similar to what you would get when purchasing from high volume manufactures. This particular board being one that is built for IBuypower by ASRock with the designation of B365M-IBR.
There is no upgrade hardware provided ( screw kit) as it was done in the past with models such as their great Trace series that came with the Asus Prime H310 Plus motherboard. No manual or driver software disk, or any information on the board is provided. There is no support on the IBuypower website that can be found for the board as far as drivers go or Bios upgrades.
Simply put, this and other IBuypower PCs seem to now have a no frills " figure it out on your own" generic type of motherboard offering that has little to know information or support available anywhere on the web that can be found. And no information through IBuypower customer support if the posts about the board on the net are accurate. It seems that about the only relevant information that you will find on the board anywhere is this small blip a found on reddit.
Personally, I bought the system because of the fact that my pre-built units from IBuypower in the past were first rate builds, with attention to detail, components of retail quality, top shelf name brand items with update information, upgrade information, manuals , drivers, etc all being readily available. I was a little disappointed to find that with this type of board being used, and the lack of info and support being openly provided for it, that great situation that made me a repeat customer appears to no longer be the way things are done.
A:AnswerHello,
Monitor does not change FPS, but the refresh rate of your monitor will affect how well the FPS is used, For example, a game running at 200 FPS would look much smoother on a 144hz monitor compared to a 60hz monitor.
A:AnswerHello,
The specs list is accurate. The reviews about the wrong hardware received the other model, the BB981, which is very similar to the BB980.
