• A monitor with 144 refresh rate is fine. I have an ASUS vg279 27 inch. It was $279.99 at best buy. Hope this helps

• We bought an Asus LCD monitor for our son to use with it. Model VG248 It has a 144 Hz refresh rate, and a 1 ms lag time for the mouse.
