“On the lower front of my Y40 is a series of USB slots and a plug in for headphones. I can't use any of them because the headphone jack and USB ports won't allow the plugins to go deep enough to work. What is the fix for this and how should I proceed?”

I am the original poster and never got an answer but I fixed the problem. I just pushed harder and the headphone jack slid right in to the bottom. Did the same thing with the USB ports.
