- Answer The iAVS1 is a stereo speaker designed to amplify the sound from the Alexa Dot. There is not a built in FM radio but you can stream hundreds of radio stations via Alexa.

- Answer Thank you for your question! The iAVS16 app and firmware was just updated to wake to streaming audio such as iHeartRadio and Spotify in addition to the built-in wake-to tones. Please make sure you have the latest firmware to leverage this feature.

QuestionHello, I am French and I would like to know if the AVS16 (thus Alexa) works in France, and also the FM and internet radio. Otherwise the IAV 14 works in France? What is the Ihome product with Alexa that you sell in France? Thank you for your comeback.

- Answer The iHome iAVS16 and iAVS14 were manufactured for the USA only. The units will connect to your Wi-Fi network, but will not provide the correct weather, time and local information if used in France.

- Answer Apple and Alexa are two different entities and are not compatible. You can stream iHeart Radio, Pandora, Spotify, Sirius XM and Amazon Music with your iAVS16.

- Answer The iAVS16 must be set up on your 2.4 GHz personal WiFi network through the iHome AVS App then connected through the Alexa App.

- Answer This is not a "full blown" Alexa unit. There is only one original Alexa Dot. This is an Alexa Bedside Speaker System. It has many functions like the Dot with a few exceptions. QuestionHi, I recently brought the IAVS16 clock and brought it back to New Zealand, the issue I have is I can not set the time to our time zone which is a bit pointless if I can not set the time?

- Answer This speaker is horrible, I have the same problem! Alexa will say the correct time, but the speaker will not display the correct time, daylight savings time. When you ask Alexa to set an alarm, she says the time you request but sets for a different time. I suggest you return yours!

- Answer Good question. You do not need a paid subscription to use iHeartRadio. On the other hand, you will need a paid Spotify subscription to stream Spotify on the iAVS16.

QuestionAlexa always defaults to the pre set alarm volume setting after the alarm goes off... I don’t see any other volume settings other than the alarm setting in the iOS app. I keep having to tell Alexa to set the “Alexa” volume lower in order to turn it down.

- Answer Alexa is preset so it can wake you up. The alarm tones will increase the long the alarm sounds.
