• The speaker should be charged for 4-6 hours while powered off for maximum battery life. Keep in mind the longer the lights are on and the higher the volume, the faster the battery will be depleted.

• Probably due to high battery drain, or the battery isn't completely charged before used. If you have had it for awhile, and didn't charge the battery completely before the first use, the battery will drain very quickly as with any rechargeable battery.
