Yes Please ... at times when I am in a call and the iHOME BT speaker shows signs of low battery, I start the charge on simultaneously and have had no issues.

Been using for close to 15 months now...

Yes the iBT77 can be used while charging.  Please do not leave on the charger at all times as this will deplete the life of the battery

Of course that’s the way I use it most of the time. When I’m not using my echo I have my phone talking to my Bluetooth of course that’s the way I use it most the time. When I’m not using my echo I have my phone talking to my Bluetooth speaker. I’ve taken it kayaking with me hiking and traveling with my girlfriend in hotels. It’s a terrific speaker! The battery life is very very good although I couldn’t tell you exactly how long it lasts.
