- Answer Yes, you can connect to it with Bluetooth. There is not 3.5mm plug option

- Answer The iAVS1 was manufactured for the 2nd generation Echo Dot. The 3rd generation is not compatible.

QuestionCan it be used with a third generation echo dot.

- Answer This unit is manufactured for the 2ng generation echo dot. The third generation has cloth around the speakers and will not fit in the dock. Best Regards, iHome Support https://www.ihomeaudio.com

- Answer It is designed for generation 2. Generation 3 is too big.
