“I have an iPhone X in an Otterbox case would i need to remove the phone from the case for it to sit in the docking space to charge? Or is it able to accommodate for the case being on the phone?”

I have had this as a Christmas gift for 3 nights now. Both nights I put it on the Qi charger with my MagSafe case and it registered as charging but then did not charge at all overnight. I will be sending back.
