“I want to use this in a large building. I had another radio that would not pick any stations even though I put the antenna up as high as possible (it is an older unit). I don't see any antenna with this. How well will it pick up radio stations?”

I would not advise this product for large building. It’s just fine for smaller rooms. I have great reception with no antenna in my kitchen.
