Do you have to turn them off manually when not in use? null

I have mine out by the hot tub and currently have them plugged into an extension cord. I would say if they have constant power then yes you would need to turn them off each time. There is a power switch on the back of one of the speakers.

JJ- Yes, you will need to turn off the speaker manually or they will stay powered on until the speakers die.
