I use Topaz Gigapixel ASI and Sharpen AI and have found it much faster than my older iMAC. However using multiple photographic tools at the same time with 8 GB of RAM,I am being told that I am out of memory which was not the case with my 2012 iMac.

I use Luminar Neo and Cyberlink PhotoDirector 365 for my editing and it is a lot faster than my old I Mac. I cannot imagine you would not get similar results using Lightroom and Photoshop.
