Don’t get it. The boards have connectivity issues and most stores in nyc stopped carrying it. Too many problems and the company doesn’t honor the warranty
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm on board #5 since July 2019. They do have connectivity issues and I ride the heck out of mine, daily. The price is steep but if you have the ability to have a few extra batteries and buy the "worst-case scenario" insurance, from a reputable company. I bought my coverage at Best Buy and although it cost me an additional $350.00 each time to continue the coverage, I get a complete new product with battery and control. Well, take that times 4 in my case that's an additional $1,400.00. (It's about an additional $350.0 - Colorado), add a few batteries, I recommend no less than 2 extra at an additional $400.00 you're looking at something closer to $2,500.00. - Add the 4 different insurance plans - $3,500.00 for the first year. That being said, I still feel its the best all around board on the market. Kicks well if you run out of juice, you can't beat the freedom of the swap-able batteries and many complaints about the ridged ride. Personally, that's one of my favorite features of the board, what you loose in cruising comfort around town, it makes up for it at speed. Bottom line - if you plan on riding 80 miles a week with slight hills and aggressive at most opportunities, plan on spending what I spent. Otherwise, I would consider another board. I'll ride 30 - 40+ miles and hard. If not for the extra batteries, I would probably go in a much different direction. Like a new bike.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think that the board itself on the website is 600 while the battery is an extra 100 and also the remote at an additional 200. But that does make it less at a risk of $900
