Q: QuestionWhat is the distance from monitor to screen? I am looking for a monitor that I can see my elderly mom who lives alone; we live a little over a quarter mile away and want to be able to give her her space yet keep an eye on her. Suggestions?

• A:Answer I don’t know if this would be your best choice. I used it initially for my elderly Mom. It would go in and out and tell me it was out of range. She had a big house with adobe walls.

• A:Answer The monitor has a scan function where it will automatically switch between connected cameras every 3/4 seconds or so, but you can’t view more than one camera at a time on this monitor. I think they have a “pro” version monitor where you can view two at a time simultaneously

Q: QuestionCan you view the camera on a smart phone? For example, when parents are outside with one or more children, will the parents individually be able to pull out their smart phone and view the baby in the crib?

• A:Answer The monitor can have multiple cameras that it can pair with. I think extra cameras have to be purchased directly from the manufacturer though.

Q: QuestionMy monitor is showing out of signal coverage, how do I fix it?

• A:Answer Honestly, I have owned this for 2 1/2 years and I have yet to find the root cause of this out of signal. I am wondering if it has to do with other wireless connections in the home. Mine will randomly just start doing it, and then stop for a few days and repeat. Not sure if we just got defective units or what.
