• Yes, Roku is free but you have to add a credit card since some roku apps cost money or have monthly fees like Netflix. I find plenty to watch free.

• Yes Roku is built into this TV, the Roku feature is as free as any Roku box that u would hookup to your old tv. Many apps on the Roku tv are are free while some apps cost money. But your well know apps like Facebook and youtube are free.
