Q: can I use this TV also as a computer monitor ?

A: The tv can plug into a computer.

Q: can i watch "regular" tv chancels on this tv

A: Yes, if you have an antenna to attach to it.

Q: How do you use the remote to input channels? My Mom had just purchase this TV and she says the TV remote that came with this TV has no numbers on it to input a channel…only the ability to scroll up or down which is painstakingly long. Any help?

A: If you are using your Roku TV with an antenna to watch live TV, you can quickly jump to different channels using the channel list. To see the channel list, simply press the LEFT arrow on the remote while watching live TV. A list of all your TV stations will appear on the left and you can quickly select the channel you like. You can also hide TV channels you never watch starting from the home screen. Go to Settings > TV Inputs > Antenna TV > Edit channel lineup.

Q: When I attempt to connect TV to the wifi, it finds 'wireless network' fine (green check mark) but consistently gets caught up on 'local network' and won't connect. Our internet is high quality & other electronics work fine. What could be the issue?

A: Unfortunately, you are out of luck! Everyone, including me, that gave a one-star review is having the same issue. I go through the process, it says connected with a green check mark, then it says not connected or drops WiFi connection in the middle of a movie. The TV was a waste of money.

Q: Do you still have to purchase a Roku Box for this tv?

A: No, Roku is built in. If you have an account it loads all your stations after you log in and put in onscreen code.

Q: Can I use the hot spot on my android phone for the internet connection?

A: Yes. I do that it works great.

Q: Will this work without cable or an antenna if one only wants to see what's available on Roku via the household wifi? Want to put this in front of my treadmill but don't want to get my DirectTV involved with this particular TV

A: Yes, you can use Roku only. Antenna or other items are optional.

Q: Why doesn't 24" Insignia Roku TV not connect to the network?

A: Had the same problem. I have good wi-fi. Even got a geek out. Returned it and got the one without ROKU enabled and then bought the best box for that TV to enable it. Works like a charm. I did have to buy a $9.99 hgmi port connection but the best buy tech showed it to me.
