ROKU is a way to stream Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc. It's basically the same as having a Apple TV, chromecast, PS4, Xbox one or firestick. ROKU was the 1st streaming device out years ago. The difference now for this product is that it is integrated into the tv. No need for the seperate box to plug into tv.

Some cost like $5. a month (HULU) And if you connect a lot of channels through your dish or direct tv, if you stop your dish or direct tv, then those channels stop on your ROKU too. Take it anywhere you have an electrical plug. The #3 generation ROKU adaptor has a fantastic remote that you can carry away from the tv and put the headphones in your ears on your treadmill or while ironing and nobody else can hear you are listening to wrestling .
