“How wide of opening is needed to be able to open the door? The width is listed as 21.8” with door closed, will it be functional in a 22.5” opening or does that not allow enough room for the door to hinge? Thanks!”

• It might be tight but should fit, as the door when fully open adds a bit under 0.5 inches to the width.

• With the door open at a right angle near the hinge it is 22 inches even.
