• The washer has a pump with filter that removes wash water during and at completion of any wash cycle as all good electric washers should. I recommend downloading the owners manual (pdf) from the Best Buy expanded description page of you've narrowed down your search. (In my opinion, this is a wonderful compact washer. I only wish it has a companion dryer in the same dimensions.)
