In my opinion yes yes and NO. When I turn it on it flashes INSIGNIA for at least 2 hours before it connects to wifi then continually freezes. Have to restart and wait 2 hours again. I returned the first one for doing this but the second one is just the same

As with any electronic product, it will freeze up from time to time, especially if you're trying to run multiple apps at the same time. Usually it will clear up by itself, but sometimes it's gotten so bad, I had to reboot it. But it usually because it'll say 'Google Play Store is not responding.' So it's usually due to background apps all of sudden not working or trying to switch between too many apps. As for the connection, I'm not sure what you mean by that last question. It does hold a charge for days at a time if you're not constantly playing games.

Defectives are an unfortunate part of electronics fabrication. Fabricators do work diligently to limit them further--over time. These have been typical complaints--for decades. This performs nominally for me, and I've dropped it once.. It's been a few weeks.....
