QuestionWhat is the width when the doors are open at 90 degrees? I ordered a Whirpool, but now I am reading it adds another 2" to the width to open the doors and that i do not have. Also, to confirm, the doors are reversible? I need the hinge side on the left.

- Answer The hinges can be reversed on the doors. Your remaining question cannot be answered at this time. The width is 24 inches and stays the same with the doors open 90 degrees. The depth with the doors open 90 degrees is 49.2 inches. The clearance recommendation on either side and the back of the unit is 7.87 inches.

QuestionI purchased but need a left door hinge which did not come with fridge. Sf store said they do not have them in stock. Anyone have a left door hinge kit I can purchase ?

- Answer When I called the store they do not carry the hinge kit. Ridiculous it doesn't come with it. We are having the same issue. I can't find them anywhere online.

QuestionThe refrigerator door does not always close properly. Sometimes the door pops open after closing. I sometimes have to maneuver the door gasket to get the magnetic strip lined up properly and then it will stay closed. Replace door gasket?

QuestionMy fridge isn’t cooling the food, in fact the inside is room temperature and the freeze is the same. There is also a strange intermittent sound, like it’s trying to restart but gives up. I bought it in 2017, not too old. Suggestions? Thanks

QuestionI baught a bottom freeze refrigerator one year ago and now after one year a few days the top part(refrigerator) is not working. The bottom freezer is ok. I don’t know what to do. I tried those instructions on the maunual but it is still not working.

- Answer This exact problem happened to me. It seems to be a typical issue with this refrigerator. I am getting in replaced with a different model since they don't have this one available anymore. Good luck trying to get someone on the phone to give you a clear answer. The customer service to get this figured out has been an absolute nightmare.

- Answer No, you can not add an ice maker. However you can have Plastic Ice Cube Trays in the freezer to make ice.

QuestionIs it self-defrosting?

- Answer I believe so because in the two years we have owned it, it has not needed to be defrosted. We did, however, have to de-ice the evaporator fan in the freezer recently. We figured out that was the problem because it started making noise and that noise stopped whenever the refrigerator door was opened. If you're handy, it's not a big or time-consuming job. After we did this, the refrigerator was super quiet again.

- Answer Space is small and there's a pull out basket for the frozen goods that can get stuck trying to pull it out. I can't see a lot of room for an ice maker unless you plan on not storing much.
