• I have had this freezer running on a 1500 watt inverter for 3 1/2 weeks with no problems. The Watt meter I use shows 8 amp spike. Would probably show higher spike with an amp clamp and oscilloscope! Constant draw shows 68 - 75 watts. Very happy with the power usage. I would not put both freezers on one circuit.

• The ID tag says 1.4 amp draw. Not sure if that is a start up draw. I would find that hard to believe that it would draw that 15.4 on a start up.

• The start up draw is 15.4 Amps. We do not recommend putting 2 of them on the same circuit.
