• The mfg will probably instruct you to not use any extension cords. But I have used them with no problem PROVIDED you use no less than a 14 gauge rated extension cord, 12 would be best but most outlets in homes wire 14 gauge on a 15 amp circuit breaker so you make the call.

• Do not use an extension cords or ungrounded (two-prong) adapters with this freezer. If the power cord is too short, have a qualified electrician install an outlet near the freezer.
