According to the brochure TWO separate types of cables are needed to play on your TV. First is an AC adapter cable- a single male prong plugged into the player with 3 AV female connectors on the other end- Best Buy apparently does not sell this as I've searched their website and the local store in vain. Second, a cable with three male AV connectors (yellow, white, red) that also inserts into your TV (I have a Samsung SMART TV that has the 3 receiver connections) so three male plugs on both ends. Home Depot sells this cable for half the price of Best Buy. However, the salesperson only gave me the second cable, so the player could not connect to the TV, and there was no way to find the AV Adapter at Best Buy or other local stores, so I returned this purchase. Very disappointing- the portable DVD player looked fine - but I only paid $99 so it could also connect to the TV. Without the TV connection, I returned the entire purchase (@$128) and bought basic DVD player for $$25. I'll look for a cheaper portable DVD player later and pay less than this item with all the extras needed to play on the TV!
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.According to the instruction leaflet you can use RCA output cables to be inserted on the AV Output insertion on the side. Haven't tried it yet as just bought it, I will buy the extra cable and use this as playback on my Sony LCD TV.
