“When I plug the DVD player in to charge the battery, the light blinks red-green-red-green-red and then turns off. I left it plugged in and once in awhile it will repeat that blinking pattern again. What does this mean?”

You might be having problems with your wall charger (AC adapter). I have had to replace my charger several times. This is the only complaint I have about this unit.
