“I have a shredder that has stopped /working--will not shred but runs in reverse. How can I get it to work”

• I had to unplug mine after about every 20 sheets, lift the top off the basket and get pliers out to pull out all of the jammed paper in the shredding gears. It ran fine after I did that each time but it was extremely time consuming.
