That will depend on which Model Mac you are looking at. The Retina models will require an adapter. The new MacBook uses a different type of USB port so you would need to get a compatible adapter.

Yes. If your Mac has a thunderBolt or USB 3.0 port you will need the Ethernet to thunderbolt or Ethernet to USB. I would go with the Ethernet to thunderbolt adapter which is $29. All Best Buy stores have them as well as an Apple Store. Hope that helps.

This product will work with any Apple device that has an Ethernet port. If the device does not it may require an adapter or not be compatible.

Most likely you will need the Thunderbolt to Cat-6 Network Cable adapter. However, this depends on what MacBook Pro you have!
