• Yes. No, it will turn itself off if you have it on but nothing plugged in.

• The charger automatically shuts off when there is no power being drained from the USB ports. There is a switch on the side that can be used to hard power-off the brick, but it only stays on as long as a device is connected.

• It turns off itself once you take the usb off of it after charging and there is a button on the side to turn it on or off
