“Are these battery packs allowed on air flights I recently heard that the FAA is restricting lithium batteries on air flights. Anyone know if this battery pack is allowed in carryon luggage.”

Yes. The FAA doesn't want extra batteries in checked baggage because they can pose a fire risk. Portable battery such as this one are allowed in carry on always.

From the paperwork I got from American Airlines is they didn't want any li batteries in the checked baggage. I hand carried all my camera, flashlight batteries and this back one with me. I let the ticket agent know about she said thats fine. The TSA never said anything to me about it. Now I hope everyone else has the same luck.
