QuestionI want to use a 128gb micro SD card and everywhere is saying to just “format” it. It’s over 32gb, so it can’t be FAT32. So what are you supposed to do?

- Answer Hello Mindo, The SD card must be formatted by Tapping Menu button once, Select General Settings, then scroll down and select "Format", tap OK button, select the (O) to apply. QuestionIs there the ability to zoom in on segments of a recorded video, such as a license plate, with the Insignia NS-DASH152? If so how? I'd like to be able to zoom in on things either on the camera or once the video is downloaded to a desktop.

- Answer Hi Mark, Shooting at 60fps means you can zoom in on any shot and easily make out crucial details, such as license plates. A rate of 30fps or faster is sufficient for smooth video; 20fps or lower has noticeable flicker or choppiness. An inbuilt battery in a dashcam allows time to save a video file when the car engine turns off. - Answer The power cord is very long and they show it in the instructions being routed all around. So there is a good chance that you can route the cable to hide it better.

- Answer No memory card is included with the camera. You will need to provide your own. The device will take up to a 256Mb card. I am using a 32Mb in mine because that is what I had on hand. The record time obviously varies depending upon the memory capacity of the card. Unless you save the video, the device will automatically overwrite the oldest file once the card is full. For that reason, I carry an extra card with me. If there is something I want to save, but can't do so right away, I swap out cards to insure that the video I want to keep doesn't get overwritten.

- Answer Screens always on and per the instructions top temp seems to be that 140 but I pull mine out of the window when I park my car, I also use a windshield cover ( the silver window screen ) so that doesn’t work if I have the camera on my windshield

- Answer Yes, use a cigarette lighter outlet that stays hot even when the car is off to power it. I parked my car for 3 days at the airport and left it plugged in and recording, and my car battery was fine.
