• All of these answers are giving you misinformation. To answer your question, no, this is not an Android system. There is an exact copy that Insignia has that runs Android 7 but has 1 GB of RAM instead of 2 and is priced slightly higher than this device which runs Windows 10 Home. In the store if you go to their off-brand section of tablets you will see the Android version. The Windows version (this one) will be back in their Microsoft section. Pay attention to the package though as they look very similar. I picked up this tablet but had to pull the third one back as someone had stocked two Android tablets in front of them thinking they were all the same.
