No, there is nothing wrong..probably slippery floor surface. Our freezer sits on a tile floor. Usually I just brace the upper part of the freezer with my left hand as I open the door with my right. The freezer does not slide forward.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Our freezer did the same thing when we got it home. Once we stocked the freezer it was less obvious. There is a tremendous seal on the door of the unit that causes that to be difficult to open and when you use enough force to do so it tends to pull the unit out from the space it occupies. We've learned to put a hand on the top corner before pulling the door firmly and go on with our lives. We'd still recommend this unit to those interested in this type of freezer.
