Transporting your Insignia™ 13.8 Cu. Ft. Garage Ready Convertible Upright Freezer on its back or side is not recommended. Doing so can cause the compressor oil to flow into the cooling lines, which can damage the freezer and affect its performance. For the safest transport, it's best to keep the freezer upright. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Google states that a freezer should be moved in an upright position. On its back could cause problems.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can but would need it to be put in upright position for 24 hours before plugging in. has been a standard for many decades. The freon inside compressor needs to settle back to bottom before turning it on. Hope this helps
