• Using the manual mode you can keep the lid in the open position for as long as you need it, until you turn manual mode off. Press the Open/Close button when the lid is open to turn off the sensor and have the lid remain open.

• The lid will stay open if you hold your hand over the sensor. The lid will stay open if you push and hold the on/ off switch. There is quality explanatory instructions provided when I opened the box after purchase.
