• No adjustment for sensitivity . I could suggest covering sensor wit tissue or some Duran wrap or tape 90% of and see if that helps

• No, this unit does not have a feature to adjust the sensitivity. You can press and hold down the (power)/OPEN/CLOSE button until the LED light turns red to turn off the trash can.

• I have the same thing you got. No clue if it has any adjustments to sensors. That should be the next level for company to think about it. Sorry I was not helpful with your question.
