• I haven't tried this, but I've seen other posts that say the Switch might require closer to 3A, while this charger only outputs 2A max. So it might help extend the play time some, but maybe not by very much.

• Yes, as long as you have the correct switch harger. You need the one with a usb on the other end so you can plug it in.
