“Can this be set on carpet? or will it be too unlevel to hold the temperature?”

• Mine is on carpet but I put a piece of cardboard under it because the location is temporary and I didn't want to ruin the carpet. It keeps the temperature about 2 degrees warmer than I have it set at so I just set it lower. I like the unit a lot. It is fairly quiet.
