One shelf has a drop down of 3/4 of an inch from side supports. If you install it as the lowest shelf then the middle shelf has a slot that is just perfect if you want bottles standing up. I will say that the bottom part (where the depth is less) is just right for a bottle stored horizontally. There are many different configurations available and standing up bottles is no problem. You would still have the bottom free, one shelf above for cans, and an area big enough for wine bottles at the very top.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes there are multiple shelf adjustments and can easly fit bottles standing up. I use mostly cans but lay the bottles flat to get more room. Great refrigerator quiet and colder then most freestanding refrigerators.
