A:AnswerNo, the fan should not run all the time. It should run only when the compressor is running (i.e. generating cold air). Are you sure that the fan on your unit runs all the time such that it never stop? Could it be that it was running while you were paying attention to it, and it stopped after you were not paying attention? On my unit, the fan comes on (when the compressor is working) and goes off from time to time, which I believe it is working as designed.
