A:AnswerYes, you can transport it laying down as long as you don't plug it in too soon. Plugging it in too soon after laying down can damage the cooling system. The guy at best buy told me the ratio is about 2 to 4 hours of standing upright for every half hour of laying down. I transported mine on its side for about 30 minutes and let it sit upright overnight just to be sure before plugging it in, and it works fine.
A:AnswerUnfortunately the answer is Insignia is Best Buy’s Brand but it is made in China. I have this fridge for 10 months now as an extra in my basement I like it but had issue with back panel freezing up but it was all due to the delivery men who never put the door on correctly , so make sure you watch when it arrives on how they attach the door but Best Buy did let me replace it because black was no longer available and the fact that it was less then a year old. I’m waiting on a white one which will take 3 months I hope! Back to your question it seems we can’t get around the China thing with almost every product.

Wire Rack shelves are too wide gap. Some items placed on shelf will not stay level. Freezer door developing drag or scrape feel.
