• I guess one could manage with this but outdoor plugs and wires have very strict and special requirements to handle weather, temperature and moisture fluctuations. So, for long term outdoor use, I would recommend a dedicated outdoor extension cable.

• I wouldn’t recommend it. Plug doesn’t have waterproof coverings.
