“Would this work well with a projector and screen for indoor/outdoor movie/concert watching? Looking for something that will provide louder volume that I can't get from portable speakers (but not too loud to annoy the neighbors ha ha).”

This soundbar delivers excellent sound for its size. It would be a huge improvement over portable speakers. It should work for a projector. It has rca jacks and also has optical digital audio capabilities to hook it up. Only drawback is you have to purchase the optical digital audio cord unfortunately it does not come with it. The RCA jacks come with it. You can purchase the cord easily at the same time or easily somewhere else. The price difference from getting it somewhere else and at best buy is about 10 dollars difference but I always say you get what you pay for.
