“Will this sound bar work with my insignia tv? And do I need to purchase additional cables?”

• It should, it's a pretty universal sound bar. You'll get best quality sound if you use the optical digital cable. I tried both Bluetooth & optical cable and optical cable is definitely better. You'll have to purchase it separately ($10-20) but definitely worth the investment.
