Short answer, NO, at least not that I have found. I have this soundbar attached to a 24" LG TV connected to Dish Network. The soundbar is so much better than the TVs built-in speakers but so far I have not been able to get the Dish remote to turn on/off the soundbar. It will control the volume and mute functions but not the on/off, so I always have to manually turn on the soundbar, that has turned itself off, using either the button on the right end or the soundbar remote. Very annoying but I'm getting used to it. Sorry, not much help, but at least you are not alone. I wish it would just stay on all the time.
