“remote that came with the sound bar does not power on the device, once I turn it on using the control button on side of sound bar, the remote will power off the sound bar,it will not turn it on I am using the optical connection and all else works well”

• We have had remote issues. In order for it to turn it on we have to be directly in front of the sound bar head on. Range is terrible and often requires a few tries. We bought a universal remote that works marginally better.

• I went into my TV settings and changed the setting so that the device comes on automatically when the TV is powered on.
