It's 12.5 inches in length. If your looking for room filling sound with big bass this unit isn't that. If your looking to improve the sound quality and volume of everyday TV viewing then this is a great value. I purchased a large Sony TV and the sound quality was very sub par. This worked out perfect for us and it takes up very little space. Hope this is of help..
