- Answer If you’re using the HDMI ARC connection, turn your tv speakers to either mute or turn the tv sound low. The sound bar is controlled by the HDMI ARC connection.

QuestionI recently bought the Insignia remote, LG-NS-RMTLG17, for use with an LG 43UM7300PUA, which is works fine with. Will this same remote control the volume, and on/off, on this Insignia sound bar? The LG SK1 sound bar turns on/off with the tv.

- Answer there are two ways to hookup the sound bar. if you don't have optical on your television then hook it up with the cables that came with your speaker then you should get a good picture because your TV doesn't require pcm setting.
