Does it work with Apple computers over bluetooth? Would like to bluetooth connect my MacBook Pro to speakers without having to hardwire them together

Yes, they will work with the Macbook Pro using Bluetooth and you can hook then up using 3.5 mm stereo cord, too. I have a Macbook Air and haven't had any issues.

yes but the bluetooth is somewhat weak and spotty. be prepared for this to cut out at times.

Bluetooth is Bluetooth. Supposed to be a dependable standard. Works with my win PC and my Android.

I just tried connecting my MacBook Pro to my Insignia via Bluetooth and it worked without a problem. You just have to make sure the speakers aren't connected via aux cord to another computer or tv. You'll know the speakers are ready for bluetooth connection if the light is blue.
