yes, but I really didn't know what I was doing
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The NS-PSB4521 system has no aux feature that I know of. The aux jack is an output for the second speaker.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have this system and I do not experience any "shutting down" issues. They are left turned on overnight and are still on the next morning. I'm using them as supplemental speakers for a LED tv. As soon as I turn the tv on, the sound is there. Not sure why they are shutting down for you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Did you never think that I might not want to have to turn it on 30 times a a day, especially since it is in a hard to reach position! And how many folks put them out of reach? I guess certainly not the majority, so why screw the majority for a minority need? Why not have the speakers sleep at low power and then wake up on signal like many other devices in life? And even if there has to be an auto switch off at least make it sensible like after no signal for an hour, not 30 seconds. And there was NOTHING on the box that warned the speaker would do this and I don't know of any other that does so. The fact is that it was very badly designed - period.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine don't automatically power off. I use my TV remote to control the volume but have to manually power off the speakers. This is not a surround sound system. They're general purpose speakers and a subwoofer meant to improve the sound for small TV's and PC's. As such, they do a very good, and cost effective, job for what they were designed to do.
